The recruiter canceled my interview 30 minutes prior to meeting. They vetted my resume AFTER scheduling an interview, changed their mind and called to tell me that I was underqualified. This was totally unexpected. It would have been the right thing to at least let me continue forward. They could have declined later. This industry is usually pretty professional. Who knows if this was a one off situation but I would be cautious if you don't have much time to waste.
