Just like the previous interview poster, I had a very similar experience with the interviewers. From the sounds of it, we may have even interviewed for the same job.
Again, asking textbook questions only to anticipate textbook answers without any regard to context, business experience or maturity. While I too was an eminently qualified candidate, I felt the process was so flawed with irrelevant questions asked by several different people unrelated to the actual job. I truly came away with the impression they really don’t know what they’re looking for. In this economy, I find it laughable that they couldn’t find a “qualified” candidate. Because they have SO many people participating in the interview process, one is bound to run into some sort of bias from one of the many interviewers. Hence, they will be stuck until find their perfect square peg for this perfect square job.
