Contacted HR for phone interview who seemed to be having a bad day. I was asked to come in for a one on one interview with HR which turned wouldn't start till I'd finished a surprise math test. After being graded was led to meet with a manager and would be fellow employee. I was phoned and I was asked if I could come back to meet with the president of the company who wasn't available for my previous visit.. I did so even though this meant missing work and putting my curent job in peril. He said he liked me and wanted me to work there which I took to mean I would get an offer. HR said that I would be contacted either way in the the next couple of days. A week passed and I phoned HR to see the status of the job. She told me they had decided to hire someone else the previous week as she giggled.
