Had a phone screen with west coast recruiter. After about five minutes, could quickly tell that she was not focused, and was very unlikely to continue through the process, as she seemed so disinterested and did not delve into my background or experience. All questions pertained to why had left last positions, (Project work and a reduction in force), not what the work had entailed. When I tried to focus on my background by finding out more about the role and company to discuss relevant experience and skills, she replied, “Good questions, I am not sure.” Lasted about 10 minutes. Not sure why she scheduled the call. Was told they were working fast and would hear by end of following week. Never received of any type of follow-communication. Was not surprised.
