The first round consisted of a 30 minute phone interview with a member of HR who just asked a set of pre set questions and typed out my answers. The questions primarily consisted of why I want to work for barclays/why this particular role. There were then a set of questions about how I feel about being in certain situations such as how I feel about working with data.
There was then a final round AC which took place in a Canary Wharf hotel and consisted of 3 1 hour interviews and a group exercise. There was also meant to be random re-testing for the online maths test but they didn't do that for us. The interviewers were all nice and easy to talk to, however they often repeated each others questions in a slightly different manor possibly trying to catch you out.The questions were similar to the phone interview questions and focused on 'how you feel about' questions, where you are encouraged to give an example but not explicitly asked to. For the group exercise we were each given an ipad and had to monitor incoming emails, IM's and voicemails then prioritise them, we then had to discuss our findings as a group and come to a consensus with a minute presentation on our reasoning.
