Applied through a friend, he passed along my resume to the partner, I was contacted by HR 2 weeks later. I had to write an essay and was interviewed by the HR recruiter, then was called a week after that to be interviewed by the executive director of the department.

Make sure you understand the industry.Also the executive director that hired me wanted to know my opinions on current events so make sure you brush up on those. Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards etc is a plus.

The interview was very relaxed and simple. They go through your CV and ask for details and then explain the day-to-day operations of an IT consultant. After the interview they sent 2 case questions which you had to answer in an hour.

I received a call from the HM the day I applied.
I had two interviews only with the team members, which allowed me to ask more specific questions about how the team operated etc
I attended the interview and got an offer around two weeks later
