So far long.. 3 steps and you only advance if you pass the previous 1) skill test (customer service, excel, outlook) - you find out approx. 1 week after posting deadline, and have 48 hrs to complete the test online. 2) web interview invite.. you schedule the time (it’s 45 min max) and then 48hrs prior they send 3 interview questions (STAR format, outlined nicely).. I found out about this step again about 1 week later and the panel consisted of 3 people who will ask questions (easy ones) after you give your answer. 3) reference check. You send these in prior to the interview . When answering your questions during the interview they will ask “who can verify this answer out of your references?” .. This takes about 1-1.5 weeks.

This was a video call interview. Multiple differant people on call. Questions given ahead of time to be answered in star format. I prepped ahead of time and had notes. Interviewees with past government positions have an advantage with extra points. Hiring is based on points system. I was not a previous gov employee. No offer but added to short list, another job offered but I declined due to the wage
