I interviewed for a cloud architect role with mostly standard questions being asked. It consisted of six rounds with varying levels of difficulties. I was kept in the look during each stage in the interview process - the HR team does a fine job here

The interview process went well and all the rounds were done. The recruiter reached out to me and said that they will release an offer letter. its been almost 6 months no offer letter was released and also no one reached out to tell what happen.

1. Initial screening call with recruiter. recruiters are amazing. He provided with all necessary information and was prompt to schedule the interview
2. Interview call with director level person.
3. Interview was easy. Focus was pretty much on resume. I was even given great feedback towards the end of the interview without asking for it.
4. And this is where I fell through cracks. I never heard from recruiters for couple of weeks. I did follow-up after couple of weeks and they promptly replied they would get back to me. But it's been over two weeks. Looks like I've been ghosted.

For solution architect position the focus is on domain knowledge. Though, I didn't have any relevant Microsoft technology experience, the interviewer looked at my actual skillset and was looking for someone who can join, learn the technology and grow.

Email from recruiter, initial recruiter screening, interview with manager, then interview with director. After that, recruiter and director went MIA and would not respond to any follow ups. Very unprofessional. Had to use my industry connections to determine feedback and status. Embarrassing for Avanade.
