Audio interview. It was done by an employee not in HR. She was not prepared. Ten minutes in I realized she was interviewing me for the wrong position. That seemed to blow it. There were not many technical questions asked- just whether I had used one plugin. 19 minutes seemed rushed. The Slack idea she said is round 2 sounds like a way to get free work out of someone for 2-3 weeks. For someone that has used Automattic for 13 years, I was turned off by the interview.
