I did 2 coding interviews for the Sydney location. One was Browser Coding and another was JS Coding, 1 hour each.
For Browser Coding, I was asked to build an extremely simple UI and the interviewer seemed happy with the outcome, often saying words like 'awesome'. However, feedback received later was not so good.
For JS Coding, one promise related task was given which I did quickly. Follow up questions were not straightforward but thought the overall interview went well. However, I was shocked at the feedback sent that was more like nitpicking & opinionated views.
So, selection is based more on what the interviewer's opinion is about you rather than actual technical skills and tasks you complete or your potential. At least, that was my experience.
Hope that helps!
