Entrevista
After sending in my CV and cover letter I was contacted two days later in order to schedule a 'first base' Skype interview - this seemed to be a fact finding exercise just to gather some initial details about myself. It was quite informal and relaxed with questions ranging from what my current job entails to what my hobbies and passions are. There were also some questions on what I already knew about Atlassian - you are expected to have done your research.
After this I undertook the 'Dragon Slayer's Quest' which is a technical exercise involving the installation, configuration and integration of a large portion of Atlassian's software suite. There are detailed instructions on this which are provided by Atlassian, around 3-4 days are given to complete this and it is pretty straightforward.
After this a somewhat technical Skype interview was undertaken generally to find out a bit more detail around technical proficiency - regular expressions, basic SQL and Linux - again more informal discussions around personal likes and dislikes.
After this I had my first face to face interviews, because I would be relocating country if successful with the job application the 2 formal interviews were condensed into one day. Initially there was a one hour group interview with around 6/7 people asking varying scenario based questions such as "Can you describe a difficult situation of which you had to communicate effectively in order to resolve an issue" etc etc... A lot more questions on personal hobbies and social activeness.
The penultimate interview was a problem solving exercise whereby you played the role of a consultant coming in to try to identify and provide a solution to a specific issue that is occurring on a factory production line. This is a logical thinking exercise and is used to test problem solving skills, This lasts around an hour and you are expected to provide the solution, although as long as you break down your investigation and provide the interviewer with the steps you used along with justifications this also reflects well.
The final interview was another Skype call as a last fact finding mission by Atlassian. The general theme I got from the recruitment process was that cultural fit played just as big a part as technical knowledge (probably more so). They really make the effort to ensure you have the sort of personality they are looking for. Another thing to note was that salary was not mentioned once - although this is on everybody's mind try not to directly ask - "how much", they are not looking for people motivated by money.

What are Rest API and explain different http response code
Good and fast process. Not very difficult, they offered more money in the end. This was a few years ago so maybe things have changed somewhat. Nothing to complain about

The hiring staff was pretty proactive.
Keep track of every steps and giving possible feedbacks
However, got rejected after step before the last one because they accept internal transfer candidate. Which made me feel a bit of wasting of time..
