It was a team a group interview; not many questions were asked.
I like to think that the initial application is the first part of the interviewing process because they learn a lot about you. During the first part of the process, you are asked many questions that require internal reflection. Next, you will be asked to join a meeting and do some tasks to show that you are serious about interning with Assuaged.

The interview process for the public health internship at Assuaged was refreshingly relaxed and easy-going. The interview questions centered around my background as a dentist and how those experiences would seamlessly translate into a public health career. I was asked to delve into the specifics of my role, including the patient interactions, preventive care initiatives, and community outreach efforts I had undertaken. The interviewers were particularly interested in understanding how my skills and insights from dentistry would bring a unique perspective to public health initiatives.
The process includes completing the application available on the organization's website. This was followed by attending a pre-internship meeting. Following the meeting, the new hire form and required references must be submitted.
