During my interview, they were mainly testing me on my understanding of recent news and big issues happening in China, and I listed 4 or 5 issues such as constitutional change/south China sea turmoil and briefly reviewed the development of each event. They also asked hypothetical questions such as if a certain event happened how would you confirm the details. No behavioral questions. In general, they were making sure that I was genuinely interested in journalism and had basic journalistic knowledge.
