Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Asana (Dublín, Dublín) en ene 2019

Got contacted by the recruiter on LinkedIn. In general very straightforward and classic interview process, first an informal call with the recruiter, then a 1-hour call with the hiring manager (mostly behavioural and motivational questions), finally an onsite back-to-back round of interviews with hiring manager, head of sales, enterprise account executive, and head of customer support.
Overall pretty nice experience, people I spoke with were open and put me at ease. However, despite having received a feedback call, it felt more an excuse than be really transparent on why I didn't get the offer.

Explain Asana to your grandma and then to your 10-years old brother.

Took almost 6 months and was very sloppy with many hiccups along the way. The recruiter was from an external company and was very bad at his job. There would be constant periods of no communication going on for weeks at times.

Tell me about a time when you had an unhappy customer. How did you solve it.
Got contacted by the headhunter. Passed the first round. Got to the second which was not with the Sales Manager of the department I was interviewed for. The questions were mainly focused on my current processes and not my sales approach. Never got any further feedback even after contacting both of them directly.

I recently interviewed with Asana and, unfortunately, found the experience to be underwhelming. The interview process felt very scripted—each interviewer seemed to be reading questions directly off a screen, leaving little room for organic conversation or follow-up. Despite spending over three hours in one day on calls and preparing a detailed deal analysis presentation, I was not provided any feedback when they decided not to move forward.
One particularly disappointing moment was with a female leader on the emerging enterprise team who opened the call by saying she was “too busy” for the interview. From the outset, it felt like she didn’t want to be there, which made for an uncomfortable and disengaging interaction.
Overall, I’d recommend Asana re-evaluate their interview process to be more candidate-friendly. A more conversational approach, providing time for questions, and offering post-interview feedback would go a long way in creating a better experience. As it stands, I left the process feeling confused, undervalued, and disappointed.
