Got a missed call from the recruiter. When I called back she asked for my basic professional details (Work Experience, Tech Stack, Years of Experience in each Technology). Thereafter I asked about the kind of work model (WFH / WFO / Hybrid), work location, and the hiring budget for the role. She replied it will depend on my Current CTC and years of experience. She asked my Current CTC, which I didn't want to share, so I politely refused to tell. I suggested I could tell her my Expected CTC. She again asked for my Current CTC, upon which I again asked her the Hiring Budget, she became agitated, said to stop wasting her time, and dropped off the call.
