I had the initial interview with HR for Applied Systems, which went well, but the original position in Applied Systems had been filled and he asked if I was interested in Ivans (under the same umbrella). I said yes and was immediately passed up to the hiring manager. Had a great conversation with the hiring manager who ended up wanting to move me forward in the process. Said there would be a meeting with the team to make sure I am a good fit, a meeting with his higher up, and a sales role play for all of the steps in the process. Said he initially wanted to do the team meeting, but when HR reached out they set me up with the higher up, great no problem. Had that meeting, thought it went well and was told I would be contacted by HR for next steps. Two weeks later, no response from anyone. HR ghosted me, reached out to the hiring manager who said I am still a "top candidate" and that HR would be reaching out. No one reached back out and since I emailed the hiring manager, I let it drop. I was even a referral....quite shocking they would treat a referral that way, but can't be too surprised in this day and age.
