A first call was scheduled via email. This was postponed by the recruiter due to a family matter.
Then the call happened, leading to a writing task to complete over the weekend.
I was told I had been successful after 2 weeks, and taken to the next step, which is an interview with the team leader. I replied straight away and asked if there was anything to prepare. I did not get an answer.
The interview was planned for the Monday and the previous Thursday evening, I received an email from the recruiter to ask me to prepare a presentation. I had friends visiting from abroad for the weekend, so I wasn't the happiest but I did it.
On the Monday morning (day of the interview), I received an email to reschedule due to childcare issues from the team leader.
The interview was now planned on the Friday.
During the interview, the team leader did not mention anything nor commented my presentation. I also had to proactively ask for feedback about the writing task. In fact, she looked pretty distracted and bored after interviewing, I quote, "so many candidates".
To summarise, quite a lot of surprising red flags and signs of amateurism for such a company , I received the final email to tell me I wasn't taken to the next step after more than 3 weeks but to be honest, the behaviour of the person who interviewed me had already answered to that question for me.
