Let me first say that I very much liked this company's culture and the people that I spoke with. That said, the company was inconsiderate with my time and left me feeling very confused and frustrated with the outcome of the process. After a 30min phone screen with a recruiter, a 30min zoom with an engineering manager, and two 1-hour phone screens (both of which I passed) - I received a generic canned response that they would not be moving forward with my application. Primarily, I'm frustrated with their lack of communication about where my application/skillset was lacking. I reached out to a recruiter for feedback about how I could strengthen my skillset and improve for future applications. They responded by rattling off everything that I did well in the interview and giving a vague suggestion that my skillset didn't match what the company needs right now. If your company is going to have candidates invest hours of interview prep, pass your technical interviews, exert effort in getting to the know the company and the people who work at it, please do us the courtesy of treating us like human beings.
