The company has established it's office in Pune, India, and let me tell you the interview process is a total mess, The HR is not aware of what he is talking and what he has to do. They just waste candidates time. Detailed explanation: I was referred by my friend, the HR from AppDirect contacted me and called me at the office for face to face interview. He made me sit at the office for 3 hours and then told that the interview panel is not present, so I can leave for the day. I went home with no issues. He said he will get back to me soon which he did not. After few days I contacted back to HR he said he will give me a coding assignment first since interview panel was still not available. He emailed me the assignment in the evening at around 5pm and told me to complete within a week's time and my time starts the next day. It was a big festival in India (Diwali) and I had taken one week off from office. Yet I invested my 3 days to complete the assignment. I did it just perfect. It was done so perfectly that no body reject me. So I completed the assignment as per his request and emailed him the code. He did not even bother to reply with an acknowledgement. After another 3 weeks I told my friend to talk to HR. Now he replied that he will check into my assignment. And till date he has not replied to my work. And I have the courtesy not to take the name nor share the official assignment question.
