Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en Anthropic (San Francisco, CA) en abr 2023
Entrevista
There was a mix up with the video conference link so we started a little late. There was a brief introduction but not a whole lot of time spent on the role and what the Recruiter was looking for. A little bit of time was left for me to ask questions but certainly not enough time for me to get a ton of information. It did sound like the team was understaffed and they were trying to figure out how to prioritize the most important challenges to work on. I would suggest talking more about the role and what the team needs rather than just asking a ton of questions and then providing a couple minutes to let the candidate ask questions at the end.

You start off with a recruiter then the hiring manager. If those two go well then you go into virtual interviews with team members and stakeholders, then the last step is to meet with leadership.
The recruiter sped through the interview and barely gave time to ask any questions. It didn't seem like they were really listening to my answers just picked up the last sentence. They didn't seem passionate about their own company which was a bit upsetting. It felt very robotic and less genuine.

What I was doing in my current role.
What I thought could happen if AI wasn't monitored or safe.
The interviewer looked a bit frazzled and in a rush. Just asked question after question, which didn't feel too personable.
Asked me if I was given feedback how did I improve on it?
It was an ok interview experience, could tell it's very fast-paced and busy work.

I came in through a referral, and was connected with a coordinator for a screen. I've been recruiting for a long time, and was having to explain basic metrics and data to this coordinator around recruiting. When I asked about next steps, she told me it would be to talk with a recruiter. It was actually shocking how bad the process is, given that many people I know work there.
