I applied online and received an email to set up a phone interview within a few days. I wasn't asked many questions during the phone interview, but there was a question regarding my qualifications. It was determined I was qualified and I scheduled an in-person interview. The in-person involved a written test to check proofreading skills, basic maths skills, and customer service writing samples, then a standard one-on-one interview. I was not asked many questions during the interview and had to cut in many times to say something relevant or else I barely would have been able to speak at all for the whole interview. After the interview, I had to follow up for weeks before I finally heard back, at which time I was offered a job much lower than what I had applied and interviewed for because they changed their mind on whether or not I was qualified. I was offered very little money to the do the same job and told it would be years before I was eligible for promotion because my work experience didn't matter to them, only work experience within their company matters. The entire process took about a month and a half and I had to email follow ups many, many times as the HR representative seldomly responded to emails. Overall, the experience left me feeling like the company had no clue what they were doing. They could not reply in a remotely timely fashion and brought me in to interview for a job they had no intention of hiring me for. It felt like a bait and switch.
