So Amdocs came to our College in Pune
The Interview process consists of Aptitude, 2 technical rounds and one HR round
1)For Aptitude round 400 to 450 students applied for the test and 96 were selected. The aptitude sections mainly consists of basics of programming(OOP, java basics, C, C++) consists of around 10 questions, Unix command is a must it had 5 Questions , SQl 6-7 questions, Shell Scripting 5-6 questions, it had quantitative part as well which was very easy and one coding questions (easy one) so in total there were 56-57 questions and the main plus point is, the duration of the test is 2 hrs which is a lot, so we can calmly solve all the problems taking our time.
2)Technical round 1: Before mentioning the actual process let me tell you one thing, The Interviewers are very friendly and it was my first interview and it never felt like it was my interview, So guyzz be very confident when speaking. So the interview starting with asking me to rate myself in the following languages: C(i told 2 out of 5),C++(2.5),Java(3),SQL(3),Unix commands(3).They asked me questions on basic SQL commands, Polymorphism in java, Double linked list insertion code in C++, Unix commands, Tower of Hanoi problem,Basic Os questions.
3) So after the first technical round 30-40(not sure) were shortlisted for the next round. In this round the interviewer had all my records of performance of the first technical round. He asked me do you know java I confidently said yes, then he asked me to write some basic sql commands, then he asked me questions related to Core java.
4)So at last 23 were shortlisted for the Hr round and the hr asked basic questions like why AMDOCS , strengths, weaknesses, intro, goals. So after all this process all 23 were selected and I was also the lucky one among them.
