This has been my second interview experience with Amazon and it was the same unorganized process. I was initially contacted by an Amazon recruiter about a job. She had requested my availability to set up a phone interview if I was interested. I didn't hear back from the recruiter for over a month, despite sending a couple of follow up emails. When I stopped following up, the recruited then reached out to me requesting my updated availability to finally set up the phone interview. Finally had the phone interview withe hiring manager. The questions were very general behavioral ones, each aligned with one of the Amazon principles. What I didn't like about this experience is how the recruiting process is handled. If a recruiter contacts you directly about a role and then ghosts, it doesn't leave a very good impression of the company as a whole to potential candidates.
