2 weeks after employee referral was acknowledged, I was contacted, then my interview was scheduled for a week later. I didn’t technically apply to the position. I prepped intensely for a while going over examples for the leadership principles. Prior to this I passed the cloud practitioner exam which deepened my knowledge of cloud computing and was a great intro to amazon language. After the interview with the hiring manager I heard back positive news hours later. they scheduled me for a second round with the head of the department about a week after my first deep dive phone interview. It lasted for 45mins. The next day I was contacted to schedule the final virtual interview (the loop), which was 2 wks from then. It was a long, intense day where I interviewed with about 7 people.

When did you have a plan and you encountered some obstacles, and what did you do about it
Did a test task and was called by HR almost immediately for the next round. But salary range (full packet with stock and benefits) and return to office policy did nit much my expectations
very standard. the interviewers had a set of questions to ask about the LPs so we can anticipate beforehand. But I think I got ghosted in the end. One of the interviewers told me about the 2 & 5 rule but its been more than 2 weeks since my last interview and still no response from anyone so idk what happened.
Lengthy, messy schedule, interviews canceled last minute, interviewer late. Rude, disrespectful and dismissive approach toward candidate. Majority of people were from a different team so had no clue about the specifics of the position when asked in the final Q&A. If they treat you like this before joining, can’t imagine after. Application withdrawn.
