I was initially contacted by the recruiter and was shortly scheduled for an on-call technical interview. Once that is done and if selected, they call you for an on-site interview. The whole process was completed in 2 weeks. The on-site interview is aligned with their 14 leadership principles. Amazon was highly professional during the entire interview process. However, the interview process is flawed. The job description and skills required are not assessed, but someone from sales would be judging you on Amazon's leadership principles. That I felt was way off! How and why would a sales representative be able to judge a solutions architect's skill-set? The interviewers maintain a poker face the entire time. So you cannot really tell how well are you doing or otherwise. In the end, I did not get an offer for the position. Good luck to the person reading this, I hope you get it :)
