Long interview process - but worth it. Had one 45 minute phone interview.. two weeks later met with about 4 people in person in Seattle. They ask you mostly behavioral "tell me about a time when" questions.. As long as you study the Leadership Principles and relate them to your work/leadership experience, you will be fine. It was a very difficult interview but also fun. My interviewers were very accommodating, personable, and SMART. It was awesome to learn about their experiences at Amazon.

Tell me about a time when you improved a customer's experience.
This was for a contract position. I was contacted by a 3rd party recruiter, then was setup with and interview quick with the AWS team, It was just 1 step, 30 minute interview with Senior Recruiter. just 1 zoom call, got the offer the following week and started 3 weeks after that.

At onset, was referred to an open role, applied and was selected for an initial screen from a recruiter. Had heard the interview process was difficult and needed to be prepared. Really need to understand the culture and core competencies of Amazon.
