      Entrevista

I applied online but also had a LinkedIn connection who got my resume to the correct recruiter. After responding to a number of short answer questions via email, the recruiter then set up a time to chat with me. He asked me qualifying questions about my job history and current compensation (including questions I had already answered in his email screen). This was followed a day later by a 1:1 phone interview with the hiring manager. She was late 10 minutes but the conversation went very well: positive, collegial, and detailed. At the end of the conversation, I was invited to go in-house less than a week later. I did not receive any details about my visit without first reaching out. Not only did I have to call a booking agency on a Friday night to secure my own flights (which was a headache, given they did not comprehend the need to fly in/out on the same day), but I didn't have the information they needed (interview start/end times). When I arrived in Seattle, the process started on time and worked like a well oiled machine: five 1:1 interviews with a lunch in the middle. Each interviewer seemed interested in asking prescribed questions and they did not take much time to get to know me as a person. I learned the recruiters are "churned and burned" and that a strong interest in working long hours is a must for the role. Interviewers took copious notes on their laptops during my responses and it seemed as though it was more imperative to record my answers rather than engaging in meaningful dialogue with me. This isn't to say they weren't nice; I just didn't get a sense that I, as a person, mattered. My skills mattered more. I had to ask to see my potential workspace, and I noted that the office had a regimented lunch hour. I received an offer about a week later but I turned it down because I didn't think the culture was a fit. The opportunity would have been interesting but I want to enjoy working with my colleagues. I didn't get the sense that I would bond/connect with my teammates here. Also, they offered me base pay well below what I was looking to earn even though we had discussed my salary requirements three times prior. Future job hunters beware "total compensation" versus "base pay". I'm giving my experience a negative rating overall. While I thought the people were generally nice, I found the logistics to be frustrating (email screening questions that were unused, compensation requirements that were ignored) and the lack of interviewers' ability to build rapport with me.

on campus interview. Two round face to face to solve some coding and algorithm questions. Ask the knowledge about hashtable, tree, linkedlist etc. Coding question is a little difficult. I solve the word ladder pretty fast. Then i was asked word ladder II which is extremely hard. But I give a good explanation of my solution. It seems that the interviewer is satisfied with my solution.
