The interview process was pretty good. The offices however seemed very basic, a big room with a loud radio blasting music, and 2 receptionists sitting at a desk either side of the room on mobile phones and laptops. I was interviewed by Alex, who seemed like a nice guy, and was told I'd get a call back by the end of the day with the outcome. Sure enough I got a call and an email saying I was to come in the next day in a shirt and tie to learn more about the company and have a bit of a trial, as well as an E-mail with a pretty interesting looking itiniary. Next day I turned up in my suit, looking pretty smart and fresh, expecting to be spending a day in the office learning about my sales assistant role.... nope.... was told I'd be with these 3 guys going to an event to promote a charity, and asked if i had brought a coat, bit strange. walked to the other side of the city centre to a car, whilst being fed all this rubbish about there being excellent career progression and how within a year you could be running your own office with your own team underneath you ECT ECT... so by the time we are in this car and we have left Leicester I then start getting asked questions about direct sales and face to face sales.. it was only when we got to the destination (over an hour away) I realised it was DOOR TO DOOR SALES!!! this was not what I signed up for!!! I was stood there, in the pouring down rain in my suit, soaked through, walking door to door with no-one answering or caring about what we was doing whilst freezing cold (couldn't even move my fingers at this point and my feet were like size 11 blocks of ice) and being hit with heavy rain and hail. Kept being told how everyone has to start at the bottom and how within a few weeks you'll be a manager of some sort but I wasn't having any of it. So so so misleading, no where in the interview or emails does if say anything about being door to door sales, even though they reply to everyone on here saying they are completely transparent in the recruitment process, which is a lie as if I knew I was gonna be out in the rain I'd at least of brought a coat. Oh and you only get paid on commission. Oh lastly this little work trial would of lasted from 11am until 9pm if I hadn't of got on a train home at half 2. PLEASE AVOID UNLESS EXTREMELY GULLIBLE OR YOU FANCY KNOCKING ON DOORS ALL DAY FOR FREE
