Outside recruiter reached out to me based on online profile, asked if I would be interested. Responded I might be the same day, sent a resume. She took 6 days to get back to me, wanted to chat THAT SAME DAY. We scheduled for 2 days later - pleasant conversation, typically screen questions - background, experience, are you alright with location of position, etc. Said she would forward materials on to hiring person, should hear beginning of following week - otherwise, ping her. Tuesday comes around, I ping her - no response from her, but a few hours later someone calls to set up videocon - cant understand 1/3 of what person is saying. Call back to set up time - I state my preference, she says that will work. Hour later, she calls back - that doesn't work, we reschedule. Recruiter writes, says 'call me when you get through it.' Have the videocon interview: everything is pretty normal other than interviewer doesn't really ask a question - tells about the company and emself, then just stops. Strange. I pick up and try to talk about myself, etc. Conversation ends abruptly - right at 31 minutes, em has another interview. Em offers email. I send thank you to email, no reply - no biggie. I call recruiter, as requested. VM, lv msg. Call again, VM, lv msg. Send email saying 'we can chat if you want.' She emails back - 'don't have feedback, but what did you think?' Wrote her back. A week goes by, no word, Email both recruiter and interviewer - no response. Totally ghosted.
