      Entrevista para Stock Administrator

Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Allscripts (Raleigh, NC) en feb 2010

      Entrevista

I went through a couple phone interviews with the HR recruiter and the hiring mgr. Then I was invited to a site visit to interview with 3 people at the Raleigh, NC site. This turned out to be a nightmare. Both people I had the phone interview with knew I was located in Dallas. They had their travel arranger work with me to set up the interview itinerary. I assumed she knew I was in Dallas and she assumed I was local. When she sent my itinerary without any travel arrangements, I asked her in a polite manner if I was supposed to pay for the travel expenses myself. She responded back to me clearly irritated and in a defensive manner and asking why I thought I would have to pay for everything. I got a bad feeling right away. She had set up my interviews so that my first interview was at 1pm on a Monday. Once she knew I was not local but would have to come in from Dallas, she still booked me on an early morning flight for the day of the interview! And...it was a connecting flight from Dallas to Charlotte to Raleigh!!! The way she had the flight set up, I would land in Raleigh at 12:10 for a 1pm interview. When I expressed concern about flying out from Dallas on the day of the interview and having my arrival so close to the interview time, she asked why?? I replied I was concerned about airplane delays due to weather, etc. She replied Do you mean you think there will be bad weather in Dallas? Right then I knew I was dealing with a very strange, inept person. Needless to say, things went downhill from there. On the morning of the flight, I missed the flight from Dallas to Raleigh due to bad weather and traffic problems (I admit I should have factored addtl time for this in my commute). Then I missed the connecting flight from Charlotte to Raleigh. I didn't arrive in Raleigh until almost 4pm. I only had time to interview with 1 person before I had to head back to the airport for my 5:50 return flight to Dallas. Well, the company never contacted me again which is fine with me. I wouldn't want to work for a company like this. I'm sure they thought I was at fault for the mishaps. Even in this economic times, I can't believe there are companies that would fly you in for an interview on the same date especially when you're coming from several states away. I really believe the travel arranger set this up on purpose because she was mad about finding out I wasn't local and didn't want to change my itinerary.

      Pregunta 1

How would you handle a situation where an executive contacted you about problems with his/her stock account.
