Throughout the month, several virtual interview rounds were conducted, but it was unclear on what basis candidates were asked to attend an in-person discussion. During the in-person session, the interview panel appeared unprepared and disinterested, with some members engaged in other activities rather than conducting the interview.
I spent a couple of days traveling to attend this discussion, which proved to be completely unproductive. This resulted not only in financial loss but also in a significant waste of time, reflecting a lack of professionalism in the overall process.
It also appears that candidates are being invited for in-person interviews under assurances of reimbursement, which are not being honored. The in-person interview was poorly managed, and the panel’s disengaged behavior demonstrated a lack of respect for the candidates’ time and effort.
