I was contacted by their hiring manager and invited for an interview. I came in 15 minutes earlier and was greeted by Dan the Regional Sales Coordinator. He was smiling and very polite. He lead me into the conference room where he mentioned that there would be another person joining us. It was then that I realized it was more of an informational meeting, not an interview. He spent the next hour talking to us about ourselves, what our goals were...what we were looking for in a company etc. He proceeded to tell us about himself and how he came to Aflac. By the end of the meeting he had decided to have us both back for an interview that following week. I came back and he was more specific about the position they were hiring for, why they were hiring externally for a position that they would normally only hire internally. He explained how their system worked as far as pay and that there was no base salary....100% commission. By the end of that interview, I was invited to come back the next day for the 3rd, which ultimately turned out to be my last interview. The last interview was really just a formality, and we used it as time to answer last questions (about myself/ and question I had about Aflac) I was called later that afternoon and offered the position.

Just at the beginning of the process and wanted to read the reviews first. I received an email inviting me to come in and interview with Derek Vickers in the Rockledge office.

This is no interview. it is a pitch to become a 1099 insurance sales rep. Shame on Aflac for telling me that this is leadership position, then telling me that you need to be a "benefits advisor" first! No shame in that, but they duped us into an hour meeting where you feel like somebody wants you to become an Herbalife rep! Don't take the bait, unless you are interested in selling insurance.

They brought us in as a group and explained what aflac was, what serviced they provided. They also explained how the money comes in for you as their employee. After the introduction they pull you in for a one on one and ask more personalized questions.
