First step was a phone call with the director of engineering for initial fit. He also spent a good amount of time explaining AdStage's product and the support engineer role.
Next step was an online coding challenge (HackerRank type questions). The questions were pretty easy and seemed to be more of a filter than a deeper challenge. After submitting the responses, I promptly got code review feedback, which was a nice touch. A few days later, I was invited to an on-site interview.
The on-site interview was split into two different rounds on separate days. The first day focused on technical questions with the more senior members of the team. These were substantially harder than the previous online coding challenge, though I would say medium difficulty overall. They were straightforward questions but required basic knowledge of algorithms and data structures. Coming back the second day, I met with more engineers and with people from the product management / customer success teams. These interviews focused on cultural fit. From my side, it was also a good chance to get to know the company culture better and meet a large cross section of the team.

Schedule initial phone call with Director of Engineering. Phone call went great, Stefan was very nice and passionate about the company. He then sent an online assignment with 3 tasks. Completed the tasks (which were timed, 3 hrs). Initial automatic tests passed (codility: stack, time/space complexity), but they decided not to move forward as my code was not up to their standards or I did not complete the code as they were expecting. Overall experience was good as they are still a startup with about 25 employees, they are looking for more experienced people.

Pregunta 1
Online challenge questions were mostly about stack, Hashmap, and time/space complexity.

First i had a phone interview with the CTO, followed with a coding test. The test had 3 coding questions with space and time complexity questions. Then I was called onsite for a face to face interview with the CTO, Director and Senior Engineer. There were mostly white board coding questions related to trees.
