Lengthy interview process that took a little over a month from start to finish. There were five rounds - HR screen, direct manager, team, and presentation. Overall it was a positive experience although they did not extend an offer.

The process took a month and a half. Everything was conducted virtually due to the pandemic: -Contacted by a recruiter for a phone screen -Phone call with the hiring manager -Video call with the hiring manager and two other team members -Video call with three more team members Overall, the people I met with were great but the process itself could be better. I received conflicting information about next steps after interviews and I felt strung along. First I was told that they were finishing up interviews with other candidates and that I would hear from them later in the week. Then on the same day the recruiter followed up and was extremely positive and said the interviewers really enjoyed meeting me and that they want to make an offer soon. The following week the recruiter emailed me and told me they would not be moving forward with my candidacy as they were looking for someone with more experience. This was extremely disappointing because I was misled to believe I had an offer for a role and company I was very excited about. My advice to recruiting: Be respectful of the candidate and interviewers’ time, ensure full alignment with your senior leadership, and above all be honest.
