I applied to Achievement First which was a very long application. I then received an email that asked when they I would be available for a phone interview. The questions in the interview were interesting and I could tell from the women asking them that they were looking for one answer and that was the only answer they would be willing to accept. She said I would hear via email within 48 hours what the next steps would be. 72 hours later I heard with a very generic email that wasn't addressed to anyone- I believe this is incredibly unprofessional and wouldn't have decided to work here even if the email was offering me the next step.

For the initial phone interview, they were an hour late calling me. I thought that was odd since I already had an appointment time. For the finalist interview, I was with another girl waiting to present my lesson. I went first and time went super fast. The other girl interviewing went 10 mins after me so I waited for her to call so we can reflect on my lesson. She gave her lesson and they called her back before me for a reflection making me wait longer. Then she left home and he came back and told me to wait. They had me wait for over 3 hours for a 10 minute reflection making me almost miss my flight since I was from out of state. By now I was a little upset. Then after my reflection they said they will call me in 24 hours with a decision. They called me a week later with their decision. By then I already knew no matter their decision, I was not going to work for a company where I won't matter.
