1. GREAT PEOPLE & PERCEPTION OF POSITIVE INTERACTIONS: I truly enjoyed meeting with everyone I spoke with. I came away from each interview believing I made positive impressions, and I gathered a clear understanding of the role and how I would potentially interact with each person. The people were wonderful and I saw myself fitting in well with the team.
2. LACK OF HR PRESENCE IN SCHEDULING: That said, I struggled with the scheduling process overall. It was clear the recruiting team was not involved or aware of how the hiring manager was coordinating interviews, and I believe this contributed to both an excessive volume of interviews as well as multiple scheduling errors. Additionally, I spoke with a total of nine (9) people over the course of ten (10) separate meetings that equated to over 6 hours of interviews in the span of 4 days. Several of these interviews were scheduled very last minute, and even same-day, for large time commitments.
3. HIRING MANAGER REJECTION NOTE: After undergoing the entire interview process, I felt positive, sent emails thanking my interviewers, and awaited next steps. I received a rejection email directly from the hiring manager (not HR) on a Friday evening that complimented me, acknowledged that I was qualified for the role and would be a good team fit but then stated an assumption that I would not be satisfied in the role, even though I was never asked a question to directly address this potential concern in my interviews.

They sent me an interview invitation, but then completely ghosted me without any follow-up or notification, leaving me confused, frustrated, and unsure about my application status or next steps further. And then, sent me rejection letter 3 weeks after lol
The interviewer asked many unrelated questions and the whole process was not professional. It started with an introduction and then she asked about the date of each of the work experiences but clearly, she did not take a look at the resume before the interview.
