      Entrevista

      There was not a screening interview with HR, which I found odd for such a large company. There was only one interview with the hiring manager and two team members, and if I understood correctly, that was to be the only interview. It lasted one hour. They asked several standard questions from HR and then a few questions of their own. They also had an editing exercise that I was asked to complete during the interview, and it was not company-specific (In other words, they did not ask me to jump through hoops prior to the interview, nor did they ask me to do business work for free--they genuinely just wanted to see what I could do). The hiring manager gave me her email address, so I sent a thank you note and a few "any updates?" emails. She responded each time. Honestly, the only semi-negative aspect of the experience was that I got a parking citation for "Employee parked in a visitor spot." I wasn't an employee, so I don't know where I was supposed to have parked other than in a visitor spot. I reached out to the HR contact about it and received no response. I didn't follow up because I figured I'd tackle it if I were offered the job. However, to tie back to my opening statement, it was odd that the HR contact didn't respond to that while the hiring manager was willing to respond to my update requests.
