The interviews were intense, quick-fire, mostly asking about my knowledge about the company (PeopleCert, who have now absorbed Axelos) and my skillset. However, they seemed more interested in teaching me about the company than hearing about how I might be able to contribute. I was also surprised to have to take a Bryq assessment before the interview, as it seemed like a sure way to incorrectly label interviewees and make assumptions about their skills and personality (!) based on a formal and flawed test.
I eventually decided to decline their job offer because I gathered that they were interested in hiring someone who would be willing to work long hours, weekends, and skip lunch breaks. It was unclear whether or not they were willing to match this additional commitment with higher pay or additional holiday time (I assumed not). Nothing about this role (as it was described in the ad) seemed to explain this requirement. And I also value my personal time and sanity.
