The position was for a role in computer vision. I'm a major graduate but still I've applied to a working student position because it was the online way to do an internship since i don't have much job experience. I don't think that is the reason of my rejection. Still i had a call with this guy from Madrid, but i'm applying to Berlin. The guy was tired and not very interested i think, i tried to cheer up a bit the vibe with some jokes but the guy face was as bold as brass. He was an HR with no techical specialities so he really went through a checklist of my competences even after i described my background as a computer scientist that would give, for example, almost for granted that i know how to use linux. Still they are trying to build a machine to analyze automatically car status when they acquire one. But they are very early and i had the feeling they don't really know how to do it. I think they rejected me for the lack of deep knowledge of German. Still it's 2021 at least in tec they should speak English.
