Process started at a career fair at my university. I also applied online, so I don't know which caught their attention. About a couple months later, I was emailed asking for more information including a cover letter and a writing sample. Shortly (1-2 weeks) afterwards, they set up a phone interview which lasted about 1-2 hours, which included mostly questions about stuff on my resume. After waiting about another month, they contact me to set up an onsite interview. This was scheduled 2-3 months in advance. The onsite interview was at the office in San Diego and was from 8-5. The interview itself wasn't hard, but it was long; mostly a test of endurance if anything.I got a response about 2 weeks later with a job offer.
