Just one screening call, was told would be contacted by hiring manager within 2 weeks. No response for 7 weeks and on multiple follow ups was told that they went with a different candidate.

Applied normally and received a screening call from a recruiter. General questions about relocation etc. and scheduled a call with the Hiring manager later on for say about 30 mins. Everything was very chill, its just my interview got scheduled very late in the week (Friday afternoon) and they had shortlisted the candidates before. Also I messed up the interview by getting a lot friendly (Not my natural element in interviews) than one is supposed to be. My advice is be straightforward and in your natural element.
