Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en AND Digital en ene 2024
Entrevista
Very unprofessional. Not sure what sort of engineer they are looking for? I Joined the interview with a senior developer and was told the Principle Engineer was late. He turned up 5 mins later and was eating throughout the entire process.
I was asked to talk through my work experience but the Principle Engineer spoke more than me, as I was constantly cut off with his experiences like 'Ruby is where I made the majority of my money when I worked at twitter'. 🙄 I wasn't able to finish before he moved us on to questions.
Questions felt very junior 'low level memory based' and were varying levels of syntax knowledge eg explain the difference between == and === and felt like I got the majority correct.
I was then asked questions about different string and array methods to which I forgot a lot of the correct method names or amount of arguments taken. I explained what the methods did and how they were used just not the name. He said they needed a developer who didn't just let co-pilot do all the work.
I guess memorising the String.split arguments is more important to this company than actual full stack experience.
