After sending in an application you will be contacted to attend an info session. The info session will be hosted by two managers. They will tell you about the role and the progression towards Locomotive Engineer. You will do an icebreaker activity with a partner, and introduce one another to the room. You'll then answer some questions on paper and be shown some videos. The final activity is a test on reading, comprehending and interpreting railroad rules. If successful at the info session you will be invited to an interview. Mine was online. Mostly situational and behavioural questions with a focus on safety and customer service. If successful you will be given an offer conditional on background check and medical.
