Constantly receive unsolicited phone calls from recruiters at Alku, that almost border on harrassment in terms of the frequency and almost relentless nature of the phone calls from them.
Its not unusal to receive multiple calls in one day, and repeated calls over the course of a week. The typical recruiter sounds like a kid still in high school.
In all of my interaction with them, they have shown a consistent lack maturity, professionalism, courtesy, dimplomacy and tact. Its clear that these kids are quota-driven and money-driven.
They make you feel like you're only a commodity to them to be exploited for profit, and you are not treated or seen as a human being.
I have never had the sense these kids are capable of reading/understanding a resume and properly matching it with a job description.
Its obvious that they are trolling online job sites for resumes, and only using keyword searches to match up a resume with a job requirement/description.
As a result, I only get phone calls about jobs that don't match my resume, are hundreds of miles away in another state
(as if I'm just waiting to uproot myself for a 3-month contract 700 miles away from home - LOL),
or entail some kind of crazy 3-4 hour commute that would involve driving across the state.
I will never work with Alku as a consultant or otherwise. There are betterrecruiting agencies out there that employ seasoned experienced professionals that are personable, mature, and astute who are not so crass and money-driven.

Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en ALKU
Entrevista
ALKU has aggressive recruiters who will send several emails and call you constantly prior to discussing a position. They do not like to be candid in regards to who the employer is and frequently ask questions in regards to what you are seeking. Poor follow up.
