Applicants will go through a stringent selection process. Those displaying leadership and management potential will be selected to go through a challenging 36-week residential training at the Hong Kong Police College. Upon satisfactory performance in a series of practical, physical and academic assessments, Probationary Inspectors will first assume frontline positions as Patrol Sub-Unit Commanders and embark on a structured career path for junior inspectors.
