A half-hour onsite interview where I talked mostly about my academic projects. They asked a lot of details, so an applicant needs to be ready to recall specifics even for old projects based on the interests and expertise of the interviewer.

Easy pre-recorded interview followed by zoom interview with manager. Asked about previous work experience and interests within R&D. Got the offer a couple weeks later. Not a bad experience overall.

Ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen. Erst mal wurden mir einige Produkte von ABB gezeigt, bevor wir in einen Meeting-Raum gingen. Am anschliessenden Gespräch waren der Hiring Manager und der Projektleiter beteiligt. Nach dem Gespräch wurde mir auf einem Rundgang noch die Produktion gezeigt.

It was nice and smooth. most questions were around technical issues rather than personality and soft skills. It was held on a panel composed of some relevant technical managers there.
