The interview process was very straight forward and the person whom I was communicating with explained everything very clearly and was very nice at first. I got called back for a second interview at the beginning of August and was to prepare a presentation on what my marketing approach would be for the company and their newest product. The interview went very well, I thought, and I was told they would be in touch with me within the next week. A couple of weeks went by and I heard nothing from anyone, so I decided to reach out for an update. It was explained that some unexpected events happened where they had to extend their interview process, and they would be in touch soon. Nearly another month went by and I heard no update whatsoever from anyone in the company, so I decided to send another email at the end of September. It is now the middle of October and I still have not heard any sort of update, so I decided to move on. Very unprofessional to do this to candidates for a position, especially when they are called for a second interview and take a significant amount of time to put together a presentation for said interview.
