I recently went through the interview process for a senior engineering role at 360T. Unfortunately, the experience raised several concerns.
The process started with a take-home assignment. After submitting it, I expected the next discussion to focus on the assignment, but instead the interview was centered on core Java theory questions. This made the process feel somewhat unclear and inconsistent.
There were multiple interview rounds after that, including a deep technical interview and another round where two engineers went through questions from a PDF document. During that interview, when I said I did not know the answer to some questions, the interviewers reacted in a way that felt dismissive and unprofessional (including laughing). At one point I was also asked whether I was “guessing or actually knew the answer,” which came across as unnecessarily confrontational.
Overall, the process felt very focused on memorized Java trivia rather than engineering thinking, system design, or practical experience. The communication about what each interview round would cover was also not very clear.
While the final offer was financially competitive, the overall tone and interaction style during the interviews gave me concerns about the team culture, so I decided not to proceed further.
I hope the company improves the candidate experience in the future by providing clearer expectations and ensuring respectful communication during interviews.
