Entrevista
Long time user and lover of the product.
I had a phone call with a hiring manager and a follow up with a senior technical leader.
The conversations were technical in nature, but didn't have any trick questions or gotchas -- just a simple conversation of what I had worked on at my current and past companies, as well as what I might work on if I was to join the company. Great chats, good experience.
I ultimately turned down the offer for two reasons:
- Compensation was lower than what I was making currently
- AgileBits did not (at that time) provide any health insurance benefits. Although I did not formally disclose this, I have a health condition which would be expensive to manage without insurance.
Very organized through the entire process. Started with an hr screening which went well, then 3 other interviews with the hiring manager, department head and leader from a diff department.
It was pretty straightforward.
There were 4 steps.
I had a Initial phone screen with a recruiter.
After that I had a interview with hiring manager.
Then I got a technical home assignment. I had to finish it within 48 hours.
After submitting my assignment they scheduled two 1 hour Technical round including coding and behavioral interview.

Standard - Recruiter Screen, Hiring Manager Interview, Technical and Behavioral. Technical is a take home assessment, no live coding. Hiring Manager and Behavioral are pretty much the same but the Behavioral is with another Dev.

Questions about constructive feedback, conflict management, a time you failed, pretty standard Behavioral.
The technical is about the assessment and my thought process when doing it, also if I had more time what I would do. Emphasis on testing.
