Recruiter was incredibly helpful in finding the right QA role for me since they were hiring for several different levels. The recruiter was very transparent about the process and timeline up front and was flexible/willing to accommodate my timeline. There was a very helpful prep session prior to a series of interviews which was very helpful in determining my focus. Given these were remote interviews, it was considerate that little breaks were scheduled in between each. The team members I interviewed with over 2 days were well prepared and incredibly pleasant to talk to. There were great, thought provoking questions about my experience and how I could contribute. And the conversations really inspired confidence in the team, how they work and how much fun they would be to work with.

I was given an exercise and about 8 minutes to complete it. The exercise included a user story, feature specs and a mock up of the feature. I was tasked with outlining my strategy for how to test, call out questions to ask the product/design/eng teams and any potential bug/risk areas while the interviewee observed in a shared google doc and over zoom.

Fast and professional. Interviewer was more interested in gauging for personal fit than hiring to role. Wanted to build a role around an individual’s skill set rather than find an individual to fit the description.
